58 Purrs

Hello ...

Luxie, July 4th, gazing out the window

Sorry for the long delay in posting anything. We're all okay, kinda sorta. So far 2009 has been a somewhat overwhelming year, starting off as it did with the diagnosis of Luxor's heart disease. Yesterday was the first time I've taken any pictures in quite a while. Lux is just about the same, albeit sweeter than ever, and spoiled rotten. :)

Anyway, we hope all of you are doing well and that you had a relaxing July 4th.

Junior, Ninna wants me to thank you for teleporting over and Luxor says you're all invited anytime.

Hugs to all of you,
MommaLuxie

80 Purrs

We're all right ...

Just a quick post to let you know my sisters and I are doing okay. Mom's been feeling depressed and hasn't really felt like blogging, though. She's been spending a lot of time on genealogical research lately, trying to figure out puzzles and break through brick walls.

Oh ... we were sent some cans of Stinky Goodness by Addiction Pet Foods (holistic and hypoallergenic) to see what we thought of it.

First off, on a scale of pickiness from 1-10, I'm a 2. Both of my sisters are 9's.

We tried a can of "King Salmon and Potatoes" first. I dug in and continued eating, but my sisters ran past the bowls and wouldn't even try any. (Therefore, I had to eat theirs also. ;-)) The next flavor we tried was the "New Zealand Brushtail and Vegetables Entree."

That one was a hit with both Silky and me - we chowed down. Mom likes that it seems to be healthy food; she's kind of particular about that.

We wish you all a happy weekend!

Yr friend,
Lux

P.S. Junior, it was nice to see you the other day when you teleported over! Lucky, you should teleport over, too!

Gotchaversary #5

On this, the anniversary of the day five years ago when Mom & Dad picked me up in Yuma, AZ, a few early photos of my wee cute self:

This is the picture that made my mom fall in love with me.

"I think Ninna really liked me!" ;-)

A professional photo taken of me at one year old.

MommaLuxie here:

Words can't say how much we love our boy. We love him like you love your furbabies: unconditionally, forever. I can't believe it's been five years since we first set eyes on that adorable little face, and brought him home to fill our lives with so much joy. Each day with him is a precious gift, for sure. We've been blessed.

Hugs to all & Happy Weekend, everyone,
Elaine
