I just want to let everyone know that mom has decided to leave the blog up after reading all your comments. We'll post every now & then ... meanwhile, now I have a Facebook page of my very own: Luxor White. I'm the one who looks like a cat. :)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hello, all! We hope you're all having a happy holiday season, and wish you a great 2010!

All is as before. Luxie's still taking his meds like the good boy he is, and Silk & Nins are becoming fast friends lately. I find them curled up together almost every day now. We have a new ritual - every night I sit sideways on the couch reading and Lux comes and sprawls out on my legs. The only problem is he gets miffed when I want to get up, even if it's after midnight and I'm tired - if he had his way, I'd be there all night.

I guess I should eventually take this blog down since it's pretty much out of date and we're not posting anymore - I sort of lost the "will to blog" after Luxor was diagnosed with heart disease. His blog was a place where I came to be happy, and suddenly it just reminded me of his illness too much; I felt too sad. But we want to thank those of you who keep wishing us well - we always wish the same for all of you.

Anyway, we send our love and best wishes to all!

Hello ...

Luxie, July 4th, gazing out the window

Sorry for the long delay in posting anything. We're all okay, kinda sorta. So far 2009 has been a somewhat overwhelming year, starting off as it did with the diagnosis of Luxor's heart disease. Yesterday was the first time I've taken any pictures in quite a while. Lux is just about the same, albeit sweeter than ever, and spoiled rotten. :)

Anyway, we hope all of you are doing well and that you had a relaxing July 4th.

Junior, Ninna wants me to thank you for teleporting over and Luxor says you're all invited anytime.
