The story of how I came to be the owner of my very own real live pet rock is a convoluted one, but bear with me, if you will. One day Daisy adopted a pet rock she named sTony. Soon afterwards, Hannah Fanna (aka The Big Hannah Montana Fan, who's also a fan of Daisy) held a contest in which contestants suggested names for her pet rock. My entry won, and her pet rock now answers to the name of FuFu. The prize for winning this contest was - quite fittingly - a pet rock! Mine arrived today, so I am posting some pictures of my new pet rock. It doesn't have a name yet, because I think it's only fair that Hannah Fanna should be the one to choose it! Let me know, Hannah, 'kay?
Edited later: Hannah Fanna has named my pet rock "Candy!" What a perfect name. (I think Candy's a girl.)
In the following photograph, I am letting the pet rock get used to my smells. This is very important. He seems a little bit nervous, but that's just because he doesn't know me yet. Actually, I'm not sure if my pet rock is a he or she, but this may take a little time to figure out.
Hannah Fanna graciously included some chow for the pet rock; however, he or she is kind of a messy eater. We'll have to work on that.
That bald rounded head (which makes me think of my dad) looked like it needed some furs, so Mom was nice enough to give me that doll wig she has. I'm not very good at combing furs yet, as you can see. Then I showed my pet rock one of my squiggles from DKM. I think it was afraid it might be a snake, though, because its eyes got real big and googly ...
Don't worry, Pet Rock. I won't let anything hurt you. I promise to take very good care of you.
