Me (thinking)
The way I see it, life should be a simple thing: eat, nap, eat, play, eat, nap, and so forth. But it's not always that way. Mom's been kind of upset and sad this week over all sorts of things. Some of them are very important, and others not so important - she almost cried today when she found a little booboo (it's a scratch, but don't tell her that) on my forehead, above my eye. You can't even see it in the picture above.
Then Mom got a phone call from the Tall Skinny Boy's fiance, who told her they're going to a courthouse on Friday to get married. They live 17 driving hours away; she checked. She hasn't been able to reach the TSB, but TSB's father said he doesn't know anything about it. So now she's not sure if they are or aren't (they've changed the date several times), but she sure wishes she could be there if it happens.
We were really sorry to find out Felix went to the Bridge. Rest in peace, dear Felix.

There has been a lot going on. I hope that your Mom finds out when TSB is getting married for sure. I mean we can totally understand why she would like really really want to be there.
I doubt your booboo is anything to worry about, but if she is, I think you need treats...
Boo boos always call for treets. Milk it fur all yoo've got. And I hope yer Mom gits to go to the wedding... if thare is one!

Beans is weerd, one thing happens to make dem sad and den effurything becomes a major disaster to dem. We sure hope yoor mom makes it to da wedding, such as it is. Our mom would be totally PO'd if our gerl beans had just gone off to da courthouse and got married on short notice.
We thinks TSB should be more considerate of his momma, it's the little things that count!
hehe your momma sounds like my momma and most I hear, when sad things are happening around them even little things like boo boos feel like the end of the world, peeps are silly! :)

Luxie, it has been a sad week, and Mom's tend to act that way when they are sad. We are sorry that TSB hasn't told your mama anything. He should know that Mom's always want to be at their son's weddings.

When we beans are really sad or upset, even little things, like your boo-boo, can seem like a tragedy. I really hope that the TSB lets your Mom know if he is really getting married on Friday. A Mom really needs to be at her son's wedding. My brother eloped, but after things settled back down, they had a church wedding for the families. The families were eternally grateful for that.
I know how your mom is feeling. It's not easy to deal with a lot of sad stuff. Hope she will feel better soon, maybe you can just run to her, jump on her and get her smile?
I hope TSB gives your mom a call soon to talk about that, sure he also wants her with him for that big day.

TSB should fly Mom out for the wedding. Mom's deserve special treatment. Just saying.

My Mommie has been getting leaky eyes over everything lately, too. I think too much sadness is very difficult on them. That is why we must give extra good purrs and snuggles.

Hi, Luxie. :) Tell your Mommy that my tall skinny boy also got married at a courthouse, and I couldn't be there, either. While it's sad to miss an event like that, it's much more interesting and fun to watch the relationship grow and change over time as their marriage progresses. Especially when there are grandkids!! (I bet you'll have fun playing with those little beans when they come to visit!)
It would be nice if life was eat, nap, eat, play but unfortunately it's not always so simple. You can take some sadness away from your Mom by just being with her and letting her hear your purrs and feel your soft fur. I hope she feels better soon!

It has been a hard week, hasn't it? My mom is just like yours..she feels the teeniest little bump and she has to root around in my furs to find out what it is and then, she worries. And there have been other things to worry about, too. But, we're sending you a big hug (from her) and some good solid purrs (from me). We're hopin' you figure out the wedding situation and are able to be there if it goes off at the courthouse.
this has been a hard week Lux. and besides, mommies always get upset when we get hurt, no matter how tiny.
