Today I got to go outside and soak up a few rays. It was an especially good time because no one tried to stop me from rolling in the dirt. There are more pictures but the beans are watching a movie (The Shawshank Redemption) and mom said this one is all she has time to upload.
Oh! I also got to eat the raw organic chicken medallions - she finally thawed some out. That's my favorite kind of food so my tummy is feeling very happy.
I chased a grasshopper while I was outside, and my sister Silky caught one inside last night. She was holding it oh-so-delicately between her teeth so as not to damage it, when Dad yelled at her to drop it and stomped it into oblivion. Silky ran into the bedroom and cowered underneath the bed until Mom talked sweet to her. Dad wasn't right to do that - Silky's feelings are very sensitive.
Well, that's about all I can think of right now.
Have a great Sunday!

Happy Sunday to you as well, Lux!
Oh yum! Raw chicken is one of the best! Nice sun spots. We finally had some rain which made DKM very very happy.
Green is your color and what a pose! I think you should be a supermodel.
I can see that Luxor works hard for his chicken:) We watched the Shawshank Redemption last weekend (great movie. Hard to believe that Stephen King wrote it. Oh, "The Green Mile" is great too)and Koko got some of his mommy's chicken for a snack tonight.
You look lovely out in the sunlight. We love your green harness, it is very fetching!
-Fui, Suey and Evie.

Yoo look so relaxed out thare. I'm still too freeked out by the outtadoors. Noises skair me.
Thats sad bout the grasshopper. I have herd tails of my sisters in memry tag teaming a grasshopper heer in the house. THey nefur got along as well as thay did that nite. In the morning all that wuz left wuz a leg. Mommy likes to tell that story.
We really like that picture of you, Luxor, that green suits you and you look very happy. Come to our blog, we gave you an award.

You do look so pleased. And I still am just so in love with that green harness on you Luxor!
Lux, you are one gorgeous hunk of cat! That green suits you, although I think you'd look good in anything.
You are so pretty!
por grasshopper just mindig his own busy ness and then aken out by a mean ole shoe. the nerve.
We agree, kitty shouldnt have been yelled at cuz dont the manbean know kittys bring in crickets and grassyhoppers and birds and mice as GIFTS for their beans.
here is a kitty hug.

Yay for Outside and rolling in the dirt once in a while, Lux! We are sorry Silky's sensibility was offended. Nobuddy should have to drop their crunchy captures! We hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
My kiddies love the sun too and they get plenty of it at the balcony daily :).. and poor Silky.. is she feeling better today??
I would love to see the rest of the photos! I just know you spotless white... :-) Happy Sunday for all of you.
LadyJava: Yes, Silky felt better once Mom coaxed her out from under the bed - Dad apologized to her. He was afraid she had something dangerous (like a centipede) in her mouth at first.
That is a good Movie Lux, from what Momam can remember!
I love your handsome green harness and your HUGE big smile you haz in the pic, you must haz been so loving it.
You must tell your dadda not to kill crickets or grasshoppers, just catch them in a container and take them outside.
It is SOOOOOOO very unlucky, and kinda sad for the poor critter that found it's way in.
Silky knows better :)

Poor Silky does sound very sensitive. I am glad she is feeling better now. I do not think I would enjoy raw chicken medallions, but I think Harley would LOVE them. He gobbles up everything in sight. If I do not eat fast enough, he gets to my food, too.
Oh boy now Mommy is hiding under the couch, she's so afraid of the hoppers. You look very nice in the hopper green harness.
We love catching grasshoppers. They are nice and crunchy.
Oh, poor Silkie! Well, I'm glad you had such a good day. There is nothing better than rolling around in the dirt on a nice sunny fall day.
Poor Silky. But beans have to make sure we are safe, so they shout sometimes - just in case. You look so handsome there Lux.
Purrs, Sukie x
That's a great looking harness you have there, Lux, the color looks wonderful with your furs.
JD: You do that, too? It's the best, isn't it? :-)
Thank you all for saying I look good in green!
You do look so happy and wery cool in that harness.
Mom will never let us out. we are prisoners forevr

What the paw! What is wrong wif the big male beans?? Our used to do dat too, then the mom had a talk wif him - he no longer yells at us. It made us scairt and hurty.
Lux you look so comfty and relax. My mom would have squashed the bug too...Hugs Ariel
Poor Silky. It is lucky mom did not see that. Mom would have shrieked so loud you would have heard her all the way over there. Nice photo of you Lux. Lucky has quite a collection.
Roxy
How cool that you got to go outside and play! We're glad your Dad apologized to Silky. The Man beans sometimes don't realize how sensitive we are.
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
It looks like a perfect day to bask in the sun. Chicken medallions sound yummy. I can't believe your dad squished Silky's grasshopper. I'm glad your mom made it up to her.
Sounds like a perfectly relaxing Sunday. Gosh, you are just so elegant and beautiful that we are in awe every time we visit. I hope you don't mind but SS downloaded a couple of your portraits for my kitty friend album. We look through it and admire my beautiful furriends when we can't go on the net to visit.
Momo, that's so sweet - of course I don't mind! :)
Lux, you look so handsome laying in the sun. Green is certainly your color. I'm glad that your dad apologized to Silky and explained to her he was just concerned about her. Enjoy the rest of your day!
I like your green harness and green leash.
Wow! Green is definitely your color. You look like you are just taking in the whole outdoors and loving every minute.
I hope your dad and Silky made up.
With the warm weather, the white tail spiders want to come in and live with us.
So we hunt them and call mom when we find another. We have had 6 in 3 days!
That sounds very exciting, topcatrules!!!
Poor Silky--and poor lil grasshopper...
You look quite content out in the sun--were you always that comfortable in your halter?
Oops--just realized my last one got regiatered under my hubby's google account--it's actually PurrPrints :)
:) Stuff like that happens!
There is nothing as wonderful as laying in the sun, except laying in the sun with my sweet Ninna!
Junior
Tell Silky I have very sensitive feelings too and Dad's are NOT ALLOWED to yell at us because its really scary.
Kaze
Oh my. Poor Silky! We would be very sensitive to that as well.
Luf, Us
